Tuesday July 29

Tuesday July 29 - second last day
Today was our second last day and Flynn was very good and concentrated in all of his activities. We started in the Chamber at 9.00am with BJ, Patte and Moonie. Our last chamber for a while. I'll be sad to not see Pepper Pig again in the near future, although I have become accustomed to snorting a little while being in Bangkok. While eating breakfast we said goodbye to our Polish neighbours.
After the chamber Flynn had PT with Beer- a bit early for a beer but he coped very well.
 Walking the Red line
 Walking the Green line
 Riding to Siam station
 Loving my mango.
Check out my cloud and rain drops that I made with Nicky.
Dr Mozzie is giving me an extra acupuncture tomorrow and I said goodbye to Dao as she is not working tomorrow.
Flynn is kissing Green's baby and tells her it is a boy. Green gives Flynn a beautiful shirt to remember her and he says he will wear it home.
Group photo with Green.and the girls.
Trying to keep up with the Jones's at the Robin Hood.
Good luck to Jason and Sienna for their ongoing treatment and the future. I am sure we will stay in touch. You have a beautiful daughter and are on a similar journey to us.
Tomorrow at 2.00pm we leave the hospital and although we are sad to be leaving such wonderful people who have become an important part of our journey, we will be happy to go home to our beautiful families and friends.
We may not blog tomorrow, have a great day and we will be home soon,

Monday July 28

Monday July 28- Third last day
Woke up at 6.40am and Flynn was hungry but breakfast hadn't arrived yet so we had a cuddle and watched a bit of Chuggington. Dr Torsak visited with the nurses and therapists to check on Flynn and give his weekly report. Flynn's weight had remained constant and he had lost a little muscle mass which the Dr wasn't worried about because the main focus has been on OT, however he said aerobic fitness is still very important and that we will have to continue lots of therapy on our return home. Flynn had the hyperbaric chamber at 9.00am and we watched Chuggington and and Pepper pig.
 Off to PT with Bee
 OT with Nicky
 Doing the dog!
 Finding the hidden gems!
 Doing the chook!
Making a crown for Prince Flynn
Aquatic therapy with Mia - for the last time.
Outside of the MBK building in the afternoon.
At National Stadium station, near the MBK centre
Eating dinner in the corridor outside my room.
Flynn was once again a great little man today and is doing an awesome job. He still says that he is not going home and Mummy will have to come and visit him in Bangkok.
A busy day tomorrow, off to bed soon.
Good night,

Saturday July 26

Saturday July 26
Flynn woke this morning at 7.00am and I was hoping he would sleep in a little later considering that he went to sleep at 11.00pm after the nurse took his IV line out.We had breaky and then a cruisy start to the day in the chamber at 11.00am. Flynn seems a little tired after the late night and the Spinal tap.Dr Mozzie came to visit at 1.30pm and put 16 in this time.
After acupuncture Flynn had OT with Joon and Flynn was very focused today and worked very well.

Flynn did some work ripping little bits of paper and sticking them in the orange. Ripping was a challenge for Flynn.
It is starting to look like an orange even though Flynn reckons it's a peach.
 The finished product.
Flynn and I went off to explore and walked all the way to Nana station and caught the sky train back where we walked past the park.

Another park shot which is across the road from the Robin Hood Pub, Flynn tried to get me in there but I manged to refrain.
On our walking adventure
We got dad a Pizza at Dominoes which was a shocker and headed back to the 'hotel' where we are having dinner and an early night ready for an adventure around Bangkok markets and shops tomorrow.
Have a great day on Sunday and good luck at the footy Patto,

Friday July 25

Friday July 25th - 6th and final Stem Cell injection - Spinal Tap.
Today was a great day, Flynn was focused for all of his activities even though he woke at 6.15am. He had a yummy breakfast.
Off to PT at 10.00am with Beer and Flynn hit the treadmill running.
At the end of the session Flynn jumped on the bike.
We took off to the Emporium for some supplies and a Mango/Strawberry sorbet cup for Flynn and back for another feast from the kitchen.
Dr Mozzie came around at about 1.40pm and put another 15 of the best in Flynn's head and Flynn once again got the treatment from the nurses.
We rushed down to OT with Nicky who had some good activities organised for Flynn. He was focused for the session and enjoyed it, especially the painting for the last 20 minutes.
Painting of the thumb and pointer.
Stamping the leaves on the tree.
The finished product.
Dr Torsak came by to visit before my Spinal Tap
Flynn came out at around 6.00pm,  was very hungry and polished off his dinner in a flash. He is watching the Chuggington DVD that he got yesterday.
It will be another late night as Flynn will be awake until around 10.00pm.
Catch you tomorrow,
Love Flynn and Frazer xxxxxoooo

I had to add a special comment Flynn just made at 8.00pm Bangkok time. I asked him who is best mate is, expecting him to say me after being together for 4 weeks. His answer was -
"It is Jack who is in heaven"
It brought tears to my eyes, I don't mind coming second best to Jack!
Goodnight again!

Thursday July 24

Thursday July 24
Today Dr Mozzie woke us at 7.00am and asked us if we were going to Dreamworld. We said that Ethan's family were going and we were staying for our therapy sessions. Flynn and I had breaky and after a shower, we headed down for a session in the hyperbaric chamber with Patte and Moon. We watched some more Pepper Pig and the hour flew by. After the chamber we had a session in the pool with Beer who had some fun games for Flynn to play.We had lunch which Flynn said was very yummy - the food for Flynn has been prepared by specialised nutritionists who meet with me once a week to discuss Flynn's needs and dietary requirements. The diet is also very important in helping the stem cells develop and thrive in Flynn's body.
After lunch Flynn had OT with Joon and was today at times a little lazy which can be very frustrating when you know that he can do something.
Straight after OT Dr Mozzie arrived for acupuncture.
15 of the best
We took off on the train to the MBK centre for a wander around and Flynn purchased a Chuggington DVD with the money he got from the tooth fairy last week
On a packed train.  The Thai people are very kind and always stand for young kids and  the elderly.
Back to the hospital for dinner and bed. Tomorrow is Spinal Tap number 5 and stem cell treatment number 6, Flynn's final treatment. We then have therapy for another three days before heading home on Wednesday afternoon.
Flynn had Pork sausages and fries last night at the Robin Hood Pub - not very nutritious!

Catch up with you all tomorrow,
Love Flynn and Frazer.xxxxxooooo.

Wednesday 23 July

Wednesday 23 July.
Last night at around 7.00pm Flynn went to say goodnight to his therapists.
Does it look I am having fun?
Tough gig here in Bangkok!
Flynn had Pt at 10.00am and worked very hard for Ploy and the had a break until acupuncture with Dr Mozzie where he had 15 needles that went in a little further this time and Dr Mozzie was very impressed with vegemite..

It puts a rose on every cheek
We headed off to the Emporium to get a new SD card for the camera and then quickly back to the hospital for OT.
Number 1 effort Flynn
Nicky had a great painting activity for me
It is a Bangkok hand painted Christmas tree
Can't wait to show Mummy and the star is for Jack.
Why don't I want to go home? (some of Flynn's nurses)
Went to the park with Ethan, Aiden, Trish and Tony this afternoon and had an ice-pole, then went to the pub for a great time and dinner.
